A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR BYRON: With joy I can bring good news, folks! Per an email from the bishop, we are permitted to reinstate small group activities! These are groups of (roughly) ten people, so our working groups, committees, youth group, and … (wait for it) … BIBLE STUDY are all okay’d to resume!!!
For those groups using our facility, please call to double-check times and space (we will have to use the Fellowship Hall for most of these meetings, still having six feet apart). Right now this includes the Monday diet group, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts.
We are adding a new opportunity for those who are interested: we will live-stream the worship service (like we have been doing) on Saturday evening at 7:30, but we will praise and fellowship starting at 7:00 with social distancing observed.
We are gradually moving back to more familiar territory. I’m looking forward to returning to joint worship on June 7!
God bless, I am eager to see you all!
A NOTE FROM TIFFANY MOSES: I hope you all got to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend. Here is our final Children’s Church lesson for this school year. We will break for now for the summer and will hopefully meet again soon in our classroom at RUMC! Enjoy and please tell the kids I will really miss them and to have a fun summer!

CEMETERY PLOTS: The Richmond United Methodist Church has been given 44 cemetery plots at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. The church would like to sell them as we really have no need to keep them. The present price for the plots at the cemetery is near $1600 each. The church’s asking price is $600 each. The plots are located in the East Park sections A-12 plots, B- 8 plots, and C-24 plots. The East Park section is located immediately inside the main entrance. For more information contact Steve Hawkins at 740-543-3094 or 740-275-8346.
KROGER CARDS: Thank you to all those who have been participating in the Kroger Rewards that benefit the Sr. Youth Group. If you aren’t signed up in the program & would like to be part of it, their organization number is PB919. If you need more information, please contact Betty Powley (740-543-8448) or the church office (740-765-4957).
